AIRY　【英語でアートワークショップ】 はにわ 粘土ワークショップ

【開催概要】

自分のはにわ（古墳時代の日本特有の器物 ）作りを粘土で体験してみませんか？ 英語のコミュニケーション能力を向上させながら、一緒にはにわを作りましょう！ 英語学習やアートワークショップが初めての方でも大歓迎です。

※ ワークショップは英語で行われます。コミュニケーションには、翻訳アプリやメモ、絵など、どのような手段でもご自由にお使いください。また、イベントには日本語通訳者がつきます。

【参加費】1000円 / 1体　（はにわ一体につき1000円、予約申込み時に数量申請）

【持ち物】はにわをお持ち帰りになりたい場合は、持ち運び用の小さな箱をご持参されることをお勧めします。

【ワークショップの流れ】 

1. 埴輪の紹介と作り方の説明（約15分)
2. 制作時間 （準備・後片付けを含みます ）（約1時15分）

【注意事項 】粘土が乾くまで数日かかることがあります。お持ち帰り用に小さな箱をご用意ください。AIRYに作品を置いて乾燥させ、後日受け取ることはできません。

Haniwa Clay Figurines Workshop

【Event Overview】

Would you like to experience creating your own haniwa (Ancient Japanese Clay Figurine) while practicing your English? Let’s learn how to create haniwa together! Beginners in English and crafts are welcome to join. 

※ The workshop is conducted in English. Please feel free to use any tools (e.g. translation apps, writing, drawings) to communicate. A Japanese interpreter is also present at the event.

【Time】14:00～15:30

【Location】Artist In Residence Yamanashi [AIRY]

【Capacity】4 groups (1~2 persons / per group)　(8 persons in maximum)

Reservation needed in advance through google resevation form

【Participation Fee】1000 yen / per piece (tell us how many when you make a reservation)

【What to bring】If you would like to take your haniwa home, it is recommended to bring a small box for transport.

【Workshop Flow】

1. Presentation introducing haniwa and how to make them in simple English (approx. 15min)
2. Working on haniwa (includes set- and clean-up) (approx. 1hr15min)

【Important Notice】It may take several days for the clay to dry. Please be careful while transporting the figurines. ※Figurines need to be taken on the day and cannot be left at AIRY to dry.
