作家はカナダ・モントリオールで始まった一連のアート・プロジェクトの最終地点として山梨を位置づけました。

約１０年に及ぶ若木を育てるプロジェクトで、たねは若木となり森になろうとしています。これまで作家のプロジェクトに参加したすべての皆さまの願いを込めて、２０１１年北極地点到達と氷山にて旗を立てる計画をしています。山梨はその出発地点でもあります。最終個展では、山梨での撮影（コラボレーション参加者、おとなとこどものワークショップ参加者、２回のパレード参加者など）を編集したビデオ作品を披露。個展会場訪問者を楽しませてくれました。また、北極海を行くアイスバーグ・キャリーを展示、娘セデｨーを乗せて校庭で実演しました。

Finally the project became a travelling tent-cabin and a forest of tree-flags, temporarily staking claim to land in Canada, Europe and Japan. Yamanashi is the final stop of this tour before she attempts to take the forest of flags to stake claim to an iceberg in The Arctic 2011. At the AIRY last solo she showed the edited video with participants -collaborations, workshop and parades in Yamanshi. The artist created the ICEBERG CARRIAGE includs a child car-seat inside.She performed drawing the carriage with daughter Ceddy sitting on the seat in school yard.

小学校でのパレード・パフォーマンスに続いて行われた、一般市民を募集しての荒川沿いサイクリングロードでのパレード。二ヶ月間の甲府市での生活で見つけた撮影ポイントだ。自転車道はオランダ人にとって身近な空間であり、良く整備されて自転車道は有名。実際夫ヨハネスは二ヶ月半の娘メルセデスを荷台のチャイルドシートに乗せて、自転車で市内を毎日めぐっていた。そして川の水はわたし達の生活の近くをとどまることなく流れて海に注ぐ。

今回のパレードは作家の最終プレゼンテーションを兼ねている。パレード後はＡＩＲＹを会場に個展を開催して、二ヶ月に渡る山梨での制作を発表しました。

After the parade of elementary school, secondary one was planed on Arakawa-river cycling road. The volunteers were called by newapaper or website.

This video tape location was found out by the artist herself during 2 months life in Kofu. The cycling road is very familia space for the Dutch people, they have well organized cycling road sysytem. Actually the husband Johaness loved to ride a bycicle attached childseat around city everyday. Ceddy-2.5years old daughter also loved riding a bycicle by Dad or Mom too.

And the river runs along our usual life into the sea.

This parade served her last presentation as well, the last solo show was taken both 17th And 18th.

レジデンス中のＡＩＲＹから見る、舞鶴小学校校庭で繰り広げられる運動会の行進「パレード」に魅了された作家。

自らの作品である「木々の旗」５８本を掲げての小学生による校庭パレードを計画しました。

協働を承諾してくれた３年生５６人が秋空の下を行進する様子を作家が撮影し、

２０１１年北極地点到達をめざす作家のプロジェクトがスタートしました。

参加してくださった舞鶴小学校の先生方と生徒の皆さま、ご協力ありがとうございました。

AIRY is located just infront of the Elementary School, Yvette was looking at the the sports day`s practice in the school yard  every day.

She was interested in the activites, especially inspierd by the childrens parade.

Then 56 children-3rd grade were invited to carrying 58 tree-flags parade across the school yard under the beautiful autumn sky.

Yvette video taped the promnade and the project heading to the North Pole 2011 has begun now.

For the past two months Canadian/Dutch artist Yvette Poorter has been working in the studio and with the community at AIRY (Artist-in-Residence Yamanashi). This weekend (17-18 October) is the final exhibition/presentation of her work and will include a performance along the Arakawa River in Kofu. We would like to invite the public to come participate in a parade along the river, which will be video taped and will mark the beginning of the next phase of Poorter’s project “Dwelling for Intervals”. What started in 2001 as a forest of seedlings in Montreal, Canada (blown through an open window where they started to grow), and later became a forest of saplings in a backyard in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, the Dwelling for Intervals has become a forest of trees collected in images from around the world and printed on flags. This version of the Dwelling for Intervals has travelled across Canada, Europe and now Japan, hosting other artists in a cabin that has been
installed and on display in the gallery of AIRY for the past six weeks where local Kofu artists have participated in performative projects. The results of the past ten years of the Dwelling for Intervals (including the workshops and residencies in Kofu) can be seen at AIRY this weekend (17-18 October, 11:00-18:00), and we would especially like to invite the public to participate in the parade which will mark the end of a ten-year residency project and the beginning of a pilgrimage of Poorter’s forest from Kofu City, Japan to the Arctic Circle, in 2011 where Poorter will bring her forest of tree-flags to stake claim to an iceberg! The parade starts at 10am sharp at cycling road under the Arakawa bridge and will entail that each participant walk carrying one of the lovely tree-flags betweeen Arakawa bridge and New Arakawa bridge. We hope to see you there!

２００９年９月ー１０月、二ヶ月間の滞在制作が最終段階を迎えている作家が、パレード参加者を募集しています。

甲府市立舞鶴小学校（旧：春日小学校）校庭に面する当レジデンスから、日々小学生の様子を目の当たりにしていた作家は、運動会や行進に興味を持ちました。特に行進（パレード）は、大まじめでもあり、つくられている（やらされている）ようでもある。シリアスでユーモラス、真実でもあり虚構でもある。これは作家の表現に通じるものです。

２年後２０１１年に、北極点到達と「木々の旗」による氷山への杭打ちを宣言、山梨は北極点をめざすパレードの出発地点です。

５８本の旗を高く掲げて川沿いをパレードするパフォーマンス（パレード）参加者５８名を募集します。

老若男女どなたさまも大歓迎、作品つくりに参加する絶好のチャンス、

パレードの様子は録画され、作家によりＤＶＤ作品に編集されます。
