Hachio is a prolific artist who works in drawing, painting and performance, created through free expression and intuition.

He is interested in the power of the imagination and creation.

In the week leading up to Kofu Arts Festival, Hachio stayed at AIRY, and painted day and night in the gallery. He worked energetically to create 16 individual canvases to be installed at Zuisenji Temple nearby.

Each piece was an abstract representation of a flower, and together made a bouquet delivered to the Shrine.

Hachio’s contemporary works use bright colours and dynamic form and are rich in spirit.

八雄は、自由な表現や直感力を通してドローイング、ペインティング、パフォーマンスなど多くを生み出すアーティストだ。彼は想像と創造に興味があるといえる。「こうふのまちの芸術祭」へ向けての一週間、彼はＡＩＲＹに滞在したのだが、昼も夜も精力的に描き続けた。そして１６枚のキャンヴァスを仕上げて市内の瑞泉時へ展示した。
