In my artistic practice I am developing a language of painterly aesthetics expanded to various media in my installation pieces, objects and video works.

While often using found objects, materials and patterns from my surroundings, the installations and environments I create hold my own experiences and history.

I often use references to theater 　(curtains, theatrical forms) and how things are staged.

Working with the gallery space and staging the movements of the visitor in this space, also relationships between audience and the stage, interest me.

As I live currently between Vienna, Austria and Tallinn, Estonia, the cultural differences between the two countries, the process of learning to adjust in a new culture, has given lots of s to my artistic practice.

I investigate how different living environments and landscape around us influence our perception. Also a theme of a nomadic studio or a meanwhile space has been current in my work. As my practice is very material-related, time, space, budget, luggage size or other constraints are taken as a challenge to create new work.

実際に私のアートでは、インスタレーション、オブジェ、ビデオ作品といった広がりの中における言語的、芸術的美学を展開している。私はよく日常の身近なところから見つけられたオブジェ、材料や模様を使うので、自分自身の経験や歴史がインスタレーションや創造する空間を作り出している。

また私はよく劇場（カーテン、演劇フォーム）、がどのように舞台でセットされているのか、ヒントをもらう。ギャラリースペースでの作業、その空間における訪問者の動きをステージング、また観客とステージとの関係性にはとても興味がある。

今、現在はオーストリアのウィーン、エストニアのタリン、の中間に住んでいるので、両国間の文化の違い、新しい文化に適応するための学び方、それらは私の芸術的実践に大きな影響を与えている。

人々が育った環境や風景に、彼らの物の見方がどれほど影響するのかを調べている。

また、遊牧民的なアトリエや現在のスペースにおけるテーマ、というものにも最近は取組んでいる。私のアートは、特に物との関わりが強いため、時間、空間、予算、物の大きさや他に制約するものは、新しい作品を創造するうえでの挑戦となる。

Workshop

I would gladly make a presentation about my work (lecture + practical workshop) in the field of ceramics, painting (+collage) and installation. As it has been a long practice in my work, a workshop on found objects, collage or making a visual diary would be something that is easy to organize anywhere and for audience at any age.

私は、彫刻、ペインティング（コラージュ）、インスタレーションでの作品について是非プレゼンテーションをしたいと思っている。（レクチャー＆実際のワークショップ）

長いこと取り組んできたもので、身近にあるオブジェやコラージュを使ったワークショップ、また日記（ダイアリー）作りなどは、どこにいても、そして年齢問わず誰にでも参加できるものになるだろう。(Translated by Nagisa Mitsumori)
