ポップアート絵画を制作している作家は今回、人間をとりまく生きものたちに注目。自然の中に身を置いて、生きものの形・骨格・質感をとらえようと観察し、それらが生まれ出でて生きる意味を知ろうと試みました。そして木・竹・花・鳥・昆虫などの生きものの姿を感じ取り、自らの思い出と重ねあわせることで、ポップで鮮やかな色彩の「生きものたちの物語」を表現しています。
