All my drawing and ceramic’s work begins with the Travel-Notebook process: by this way, I collect information’s, souvenirs, forms in cities, in nature, by diving and by meeting people. It is a very important way to start my work and also, it make me travel differently. I travel alone, only with my notebooks, watercolor and few pencils. As I’m alone, I opened to the world around me, and I’m free to suddenly stop, sit, and draw. This freedom allows me be productive and concentrate.

About Japan: I always been very attract to this country, and I have been planning a drawing trip since a long time. I’m going to travel all month of august in order visit, experiment and taste Japan by drawing daily my adventures. Then, I’m looking for a quite place to work and think about what I saw during this month of traveling. I planning to do a lot of drawings, individuals one’s but also write a comic book about the food experience of Japan. (I’m already reading Japanese books about food, ways of eating, cooking, sharing… and the food is an important source of inspiration for me).

わたしのドローイングや陶芸は、いつも旅絵本の創作と共に始まる。街や自然の情報・記念品を収集して土地の人々に出会う。これは作品つくりを始めるにあたりとても大切な課程であり、それによって毎回旅が違うものになる。わたしはノート・水彩絵の具・鉛筆だけ持ってたった一人で旅をする。一人なので地球に向かって大きく目を見開き、急に止まって座り込み描くという自由がある。この自由さがわたしの創作意欲をかきたて、それに集中させる。

日本についてはずっと憧れを持って、絵を描きながら旅したいと長い間計画していた。８月一ヶ月を日本でのいろいろな経験に当てたい。そしてしかる場所で、旅をしながら見たものを考えたり絵に表現したいと思う。また、日本の食文化についての経験をコミックブックで表現したい。すでにそれについては準備があり、食べ物・食べ方・料理・分け方などについて勉強している。食文化とは私の制作にとって大切な分野である。
