This project consists on rebuilding and operating particular devices used by

researchers such as Friedrich Jürgenson, Konstantin Raudive and Klaus Schreiberto listen and see the invisible.

More than a simple curiosity on Instrumental Transcommunication (ITC), this

project aims to create a strategy to get out of noeadays materialistic

paradigms by considering this hypothesis about other forms of living.

If a transcommunication is found sooner or later it will be not a problem

because the devices we are going to use can be placed without environmental

impact at the landscape and can work stand alone by sending sound recordings toan Internet server as a way of keeping alive the discussed ideas during and

after the residency process.

Differently from a proof saying that things are truth or not, we are looking for the doubt as a strong alternative. Besides that, until now nobody could totally prove or refute ITC’ s existence… so, it means we have an unanswered point to offer as an invitation to think about and maybe reach something completely different from certainty and its normative consequences.

このプロジェクトは、フリードリッヒ・ユルゲンソン、コンスタンチン・ラーデブやクラウス・シュライバーなどが使用した特定の道具や物をもう一度作ってみたり操作してみたりするものである。

単にITC、(器械によるトランス通信)よりも、現代の物質的な方法を超えて、異なる生命への仮定を想定し戦略を立てることを目的としている。

もしトランス通信というものが、遅かれ早かれ発見されたとしても、それは問題にはならない、なぜなら私たちが使うデバイスは、環境の負荷はかからないものであるし、録音した音を生かして、それはインターネットを通して送信し、レジデンス期間中、又はその後にそれについて話し合うことができるからである。

結果から事実を問うのではなく、疑いの目を持つこと、これを私達の信念として求め探していきたい。また、これまでに誰もがITCを完全に立証したり明らかにしたりできていないことから、答えのないことを考えるチャンスを得て、もしかしたら全く違うものも探せるかもしれない、その確実性と変化を続ける偶然性をリサーチできるかもしれない。

In 1925, Oscar D’Argonell publishes at Rio de Janeiro his book “Voices From Beyond Through the Telephone” telling a detailed case about strange phone calls he received from another dimension. Few decades later, in 1959 the artist and film director Friedrich Jürgenson starts receiving very unusual voices while recording bird’s sounds in Sweeden, concluding after some years that it was a bridge to the deceased ones. They were not the only ones to testify this unexpected facts and some say it still happens nowadays…

Is it possible to communicate with the invisible? How much different can we imagine a form of life?

Luciana Ohira & Sergio Bonilha (Sao Paulo, Brazil) are multimedia artists and have shown their projects in many countries since 2005. For the first time in Japan, they came to learn different perspectives from this side of Earth.

1925年リオ・デ・ジャネイロでオスカー・アルゴネルが出版した「電話を通した未知の世界からの声」は彼の実際の体験を書いた本である。数年後の1959年には、アーティストであり映画監督のフレデリック・ユルゲンソンはスウェーデンで野鳥の鳴き声を録音中に不可思議な声が入ってくる経験をし、後にそれは死の世界との橋渡しであった、とまとめている。今日でも、それは何処かで起きている現象ではないだろうか、過去の単なる偶然の出来事ではなくて。
