小規模、低予算、アーティストラン、継続可能、フレキシブル、独立している、、などがマイクロ・レジデンスの基本。

AIRYは確かに小さくて、予算が無い。アーティスト毎のきめ細かい対応はできているだろう。

しかし、独立している？何から？

アートと社会の結びつき、何ができますか

アーティストが去ったあと何かを地域に残せましたか

現システムによって提供されていないので自ら起こす

ボランティアワークに真の社会的価値を見出して

自分を犠牲にして運営ー現体制を批判していない　などを熱く問いかけられました。

「窓」をテーマに絵画と論文を制作

それは物理的には部屋の窓であり、精神的には人間を隔てるまたは開け放つ心の窓を意味する。

壁との対話から始めて、やがて窓をつくり、空気を循環させて外界の自然と向き合う

キャンバス自体を窓に見立てて、パノラマ式に＜流れる＞ように描かれた風景は、空間と時間を超えて、鑑賞者に向かって静かに迫って来る。

タイと日本を重ね合わせながら、３ヶ月間出会いと制作を続けた

４月と５月は杉並の遊工房に、６月は福岡糸島のstudio-kuraに滞在した。

都会の便利さがあるレジデンスと、自然の多い郊外のレジデンス両方を体験して、

互いに遠く離れているそれらの場所は大きな違いがあるが、魂SPIRITのなかでは何かが似通っていると言う。

どこへ行こうとそこがわたしの家のように感じると。

日本ではミニマルなスタイルが好きになった

スモールでクリーンーーー日本で得たデザインエッセンスはこれから彼の制作に影響を与えるだろう。

今年のホタル発生時期予想は５月２０日～６月２０日

うっかりこの時期を逃すことも　意外と短くてついつい見逃すことが多いです。

今年は早めに計画して、山梨県中巨摩郡昭和町「杉浦医院ホタル鑑賞会」へ

子ども造形教室メンバーの紙芝居上演を兼ねて　ホタル見物にいってきました。

まず耳目を集める「新宿眼科画廊」というネーミング

ー眼科にギャラリーが併設されている？

ー元眼科医院をギャラリーとして改装した？

などと考えながらゴールデン街、花園神社を抜けて向かう

作家のまとまった展示を見るのは４回目

見る毎に少しづつ画面中の風景が、動いて変化しているようだ

そして画面から滲み出してスペースごと彼のキャンヴァスになっている。

色については、カラフルな色づかいに魅了されますが

でも「白」それも純粋で混じりけなしの「白」の白さがいつまでも心に残ります。

ＡＩＲＹをその歴史から「甲府産婦人科画廊」とするなら、アートを介して赤ちゃん出生率アップをねらうアピールもありでしょう。そんな楽しい想像力をかきたててくれた一日でした。

日頃見慣れた日常の風景を　シニカルかつナンセンスに料理する。

そんな憂慮はものともせずに

何千回　何万回と　希望をさがして一心にくりかえす行為

そのことにわたしたちは希望を感じる。
