現在、 オクラホマ州セントラル大学にてアート、ドローウィング、プリントメイキング（製版）コーディネーターとして助教授を勤める。
ウィスコンシン州ミルワキー出身、グリーンベイ・パッカー（フットボールのチーム）の大ファン
2004年 コロンバズ・アート/デザインカレッジ美術学部卒業
2006年 オハイオ州立大学、製版において美術学修士号取得
コロンバズ・アート/デザインカレッジ、オハイオ州立大学、デニソン大学にて教鞭をとる
作品は個展で展示、紹介されることが多く、他にはアメリカ各地で展示会の審査や、製版の仕事に携わる。

Michael Litzau is currently an Assistant Professor of Art, Drawing and Printmaking Coordinator at The University of Central. He was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and is a Green Bay Packer football fan throughout. Michael received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2004 from Columbus College of Art and Design and in 2006 obtained his Master of Fine Arts degree at The Ohio State University in printmaking. He has taught at Columbus College of Art and Design, The Ohio State University, and Dennison University. Michael has shown his artwork extensively through solo, juried and trade print exhibitions throughout the United States. His work can be viewed at his personal website as well as The Drawing Center online viewing program.
